I fell in love with the art of Rubber Stamping fifteen years ago when my friend DRAGGED me to a Stampin' Up! home party. I had no idea what was in store but I’ve loved every minute of my Stampin’ Up career.
You see, I’m not creative. I don’t like crafts and I don’t have an eye for style or color. But I can stamp - and I can color - and I can copy an idea and make it my own with a couple of extra touches. And that’s what I love about this craft. Someone just like me who is creatively challenged can sit down for a few minutes ( or a few hours!) and walk away with something beautiful that THEY MADE THEMSELVES!
I still remember the first card I made at that first party. It was VERY simple - Nice and Easy Notes was the set stamped on a piece of white cardstock and colored in with our Stampin’ Pastels. But you know what hooked me? The demonstrator had me sign my name next to that image that I had colored - just like a real artist does on a piece of art that they’ve created. The next day I pulled that card off the counter about 20 times and looked at it. All I could think was "wow... I really made THAT? That’s really good!" And I was hooked because finally I could create!
Let me help you find a creative side that you never knew you had! I can’t wait to share Stampin’ Up! with you!
